Microsoft Windows NT 3.x
Windows NT 3.1, the first version, was introduced in 1993.
Support for Windows NT 3.1 ended on December 31, 2000 along with mainstream support for Windows 95, becoming the first operating system in the Microsoft Windows line to phase out support.
Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
The logo was refreshed for Windows NT 4.0 to match with the new design language as featured in Windows 95.
The next version of Windows NT, Windows 2000, dropped 'NT' in its name.
End-of-support for Windows NT 4.0 depended on the edition. Mainstream support ended on June 30, 2002 for Workstation (simultaneously with Windows 98), December 31, 2002 for Server, and June 30, 2003 for Embedded. Extended support ended on June 30, 2004 for Workstation, December 31, 2004 for Server, and July 11, 2006 for Embedded (simultaneously with Windows 98 and Me).
