A version with no Bell symbol, occasionally used on telephones.
Along with the rest of the Bell System, WE's identity was updated with the 1969 Bell System logo designed by Saul Bass.
1984–1995
When AT&T divested the Bell System, they kept Western Electric and Bell Laboratories. When this occurred, AT&T simply dropped the Bell mark, using the version occasionally used in the past.
