On January 1997, former owner Granite Broadcasting bought the station and on October 14 of that year, the stations call letters changed to WDWB.
2006
In February 1, 2006, the WB logo was removed from the station branding. The station then changed its call letters to WMYD on May 7 in recognition of its future affiliation with MyNetworkTV.
WMYD
2006–2014
On July 29, 2006, WMYD debuted a new logo and the station was rebranded "MyTV20 Detroit" or "MyTV20". During the time before the actual launch of MyNetworkTV on September 5, (in which WMYD became an affiliate), it covered up all branding references to The WB during primetime and Saturday Morning programming and did not carry any network promos.
2014–present
On June 16, 2014, The E.W. Scripps Company (owner of ABC affiliate WXYZ-TV) bought WMYD. Upon the consummation, WMYD adopted this logo and rebranded once again to "TV20 Detroit".
