In 1994, Burnham Broadcasting sold WLUK-TV and three other stations (KHON-TV in Honolulu, WVUE in New Orleans, LA and WALA-TV in Mobile, AL) to SF Broadcasting (a joint venture of Savoy Communications and News Corporation), who announced the four stations would become Fox affiliates. WLUK-TV became the market's third Fox affiliate in August 1995, with previous Fox affiliate WGBA-TV joining NBC. (WACY-TV was the market's original Fox affiliate.)
