WEA International Inc. is the international publishing and distribution unit of Warner Music Group, founded in 1971. Its name is an acronym of its full name Warner Elektra Atlantic, which is composed of the names of WMG's original flagship labels Warner Bros. Records, Elektra Records, and Atlantic Records.
