1997–2001

UKTV 1997

The UKTV network was launched on November 1, 1997 when the UK Gold channel was accompanied by UK Style, UK Horizon and UK Arena.

UKTV's original graphic design was created by Lambie-Nairn and was very much based on the design that the BBC had adopted less than a month earlier. The similarities went down to details such as the font used (Gill Sans) and the layout of presentation slides.

2001–2004

The UKTV network got an updated look by Lambie-Nairn in 2001. Play UK got a new look in November 2000, with the other channels following in the spring of 2001.

2004–2009

On March 8, 2004, UKTV was relaunched once once again with all its channels changing the prefix in their name from "UK" to "UKTV" (e.g. UK Gold become UKTV Gold). The rebranding was done by Dunning Eley Jones, whose founders had worked on the network's previous identity.

2009–2013
