In the early 2000s, the chain's former mascot, 'Topps the tile' had altered slightly (his eyes and mouth have changed, the palm of his right hand is now facing upwards, and no longer stands up on a pair of proper legs - see appearances below), and no longer appears inside a blue box. The previous version of 'Topps the tile' was still used on outside signs on older branches until the late 2000s / early 2010s.
