On January 1, 1993, Thames Television continued as an independent production company and used the 1990 logo.
In 1994, Pearson Television purchased Thames.

In 2003, FremantleMedia merged Talkback with Thames, forming talkbackTHAMES. Both companies retained separate identities until 2005.
2012–present
In 2012, FremantleMedia split Talkback Thames into four companies, Talkback for comedy, Thames for entertainment, Boundless for factual and Retort for indies.
