1994-1998

TV6 Sweden was launched in 1994 as a Woman channel (same in Norway in 1995-1996) but was closed down in 1998. The logo shown here is an upside down version of the "circle 9" logo currently being used by United States television stations KMBC-TV and WTVC.

In 1998, TV6 Sweden was shut down for good and were split into two documentary channels called TV6 Nature World and TV6 Action World which were originally two entertainment channels for family and became timeshift channels.

Later in 2000, TV6 Nature World and TV6 Action World changed their names to Viasat TV6 Nature and Viasat TV6 Action right after Viasat TV6 Nature and Viasat TV6 Action right after that same year. They just removed the word World and added the word Viasat to their channel logos like TV1000, TV3 Sweden right after 2000 and more. In 2002, Viasat TV6 Nature and Viasat TV6 Action was relaunched as Viasat Nature and Viasat Action, thus the word TV6 Sweden was gone from Nature and Action, and TV6 Sweden was dead.

2006-2010

TV6 Viasat

In May 2006, TV6 Sweden was relaunched in Sweden, and TV6 Sweden was again alive. The relaunch identity was developed in just a few months by English & Pockett, and the idents featured a little robot with attitude, with the animation for the robot idents being done by The Character Shop.[1][2]

2010-2016

In May 2010, a new set of idents was launched to TV6 Sweden. They featured TV6 Sweden's logo formed out of basic materials such as wood, metal or foam. At the same time, the word "Viasat" was dropped from the logo.

In December 2016, TV6 Sweden replaced its 2010 look in favour of a pink version of the same logo with a set of new idents and also a new typeface with a new theme music and brand new animations.
