TV5Monde, often known as simply TV5, is a French-language international television channel jointly run by Francophone broadcasters (France Télévisions of France; RTBF of Belgium; SRG SSR of Switzerland (through its French-language division RTS); Radio-Canada and Télé-Québec of Canada).

TV5 was launched in January 1984 as a joint venture of 5 French broadcasters (TF1, Antenne 2, FR3 of France; TSR of Switzerland; and RTBF of Belgium).

A new logo for TV5 Europe was introduced on 5 September 1988.

A new logo was introduced on 4 December 2021, with the number 5 connecting to the letter O and the counterspace of the letter M meeting the corners of the letter V. As with the 1995 and 2006 logos, the font of words TV5 and MONDE are in Limerick Serial Heavy which has been modified slightly this time.
