2008–2012 (as a Netflix service), 2012–2016 (as a TV Everywhere service)
In 2008, Starz launched Starz Play as a service offered in conjunction with Netflix, and its' Netflix service ended in February 28, 2012 after Starz announced that it would not renew its streaming agreement on September 1, 2011. However, on October 8, 2012, Starz Play was revived and this time, as a TV Everywhere service. This would coincide with the launches of Encore Play and MoviePlex Play. As of April 5, 2016, (the same day that Starz introduced a new look and logo along with the rebranding of the Encore channels as "Starz Encore") Starz Play has been merged with the Starz website and its official app.
