In 2004, Starz launched an additional multiplex channel aimed at preschool and younger school-age children, Starz Kids, on select cable systems.

On March 28, 2005, Starz "merged" Starz Kids and Starz Family into one channel, Starz Kids & Family, as part of a rebrand of the entire Starz family of multiplex channels.

In April 2008, Starz Kids & Family introduced a new logo.
