The familiar stripes logo was introduced in 1989. The name of the region appeared above the stripes in a variety of typefaces. Sometimes a red box similar to the logo below was present and either the words 'Part of the Stagecoach Group' or 'Part of Stagecoach Buses' would appear within it.
KHCT and Cleveland Transit were taken over by Stagecoach in 1994. Coincidentally, KHCT's logo was in the exact same typeface as that of Stagecoach. Initially, it retained that logo, with "Employee Owners Working For You" replaced with "Part of the Stagecoach Group", before being rebranded as Stagecoach Kingston Upon Hull in 1996.
Introduced in 1994 on some regions but by 1995, all regions of Stagecoach Buses standardised on the above logo, the red box containing the name of the region (e.g. Stagecoach Ribble, Stagecoach Cumberland, Stagecoach Busways, Stagecoach Hampshire Bus etc.) , the logo lasted until 2002-2003 and as late as 2004-2005 on some regions.
A new logo was introduced in 2000 with the introduction of the 'swoops' livery but some regions didn't get this logo until 2001-2002.
