Sony Aath is a Bengali-language movie channel in India that also shows some dubbed entertainment shows. It was launched in 2009 as Channel 8 and acquired by Multi Screen Media (now Sony Pictures Networks India) in 2010, which renamed it to Sony Aath (Aath is the Bengali word for the number eight, and it is also used by Aakash Aath). It was the broadcaster’s only regional-language channel (i.e., except Hindi and English) until 19 August 2018, when Sony Marathi was launched.

Its competitors include Jalsha Movies, Zee Bangla Cinema, Colors Bangla Cinema and Enterr10 Bangla.
