On April 1, 2001, Radio 5 changed its frequency and was renamed 747 AM.

On September 4, 2006, Radio 747 reverted back to its old name, Radio 5.[1]
2007-2012

To coincide with launch of the NPO brand in March 2007, Radio 1 (Netherlands), Radio 2 (Netherlands), Radio 4 (Netherlands) and Radio 5 got updated logos. The new logo all included the diamond shape which has been used by the group's television channels for a few years.[2][3][4]
