In 2001, Infinity Outdoor was renamed Viacom Outdoor with the merger of Infinity Outdoor and TDI.

CBS Outdoor

2006–2014

CBS Outdoor

On December 31, 2005, Viacom split ways with CBS Corporation, with CBS keeping Viacom Outdoor. The U.S. operations of Viacom Outdoor were immediately renamed CBS Outdoor with Canada and the rest of the world following on October 12, 2006.

In 2014, CBS Outdoor International (CBS Outdoor's assets outside of North and South America) was sold to Platinum Equity, and was renamed Exterion Media.[1]

CBS Outdoor Americas Inc. was spun-off as an independent, public company from CBS Corp. in 2014. On November 20, 2014, CBS Outdoor was renamed "Outfront Media".
