On the 19th of October 2008, Central underwent a restructure. Kids and Arts Central were renamed as Okto, while Vasantham Central became an independent channel known as Vasantham.

In 2011 the nighttime programme timeslot from 10pm to midnight on Okto was named A-Ok (Arts on Okto). The stylized "A" is a variation of the "A" in the former Arts Central logo.

Oktots
OkTots is a programme timeslot on Okto that shows programming for young children in the morning, from 9am-3pm on weekdays and 7am-9am on weekends.
