In April 2008, Trent FM became the Arena's first title sponsors, changing the name to the Trent FM Arena Nottingham.[1]

Capital FM Arena Nottingham

2011-2015

In 2010, it was announced that Trent FM would merge with Ram FM and Leicester Sound to form Capital East Midlands on January 3, 2011, and that the Arena would become the Capital FM Arena Nottingham.[2]

Motorpoint Arena Nottingham

2016-present

In 2015, it was announced that starting in January 2016 Motorpoint (sponsors of Sheffield Arena and Cardiff Arena) would take over the sponsorship from Capital for five years, taking the name Motorpoint Arena Nottingham.[3] On January 14, 2016, the signs were altered to the new name.[4]
