The logo design and letters were changed in 2001 following Time Warner's purchase by AOL. Despite being replaced by the next logo below, this is strangely used on the poster for 2024's The Watchers.

On February 29, 2008, Time Warner reorganized New Line Cinema so it went from being an independent studio to a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Entertainment. Three years later, the logo scheme was changed from blue to gold, and is now shown together with the Warner Bros. Pictures logo to reflect the new organization. In 2021, the logo became silver and no longer reflective. In 2024, it will be changed back to gold.
