On 12 September 2018, NRL revealed a refresh of their 2013 logo and it was introduced by mid-October, as an official logo. This iteration of the logo removes elements for the previous logo such as the drop shadows, the southern cross and the yellow colour, replacing the existing dark green with a mint hue. The shield and the NRL wordmark were also rebalanced.
