Mountain Dew was launched in 1948, and was originally created in 1940 by Tennessee beverage bottlers Moses and Ally Hartman.

This logo is now used on Mountain Dew Throwback as of 2009.

This logo was used on some Green Label Art bottles alongside with the 2005 logo, and was also used as the first Mountain Dew Throwback logo from 2007 to 2008.

This logo was designed and developed in mid 1998, alongside with a new (at the time) icon for Mountain Dew, and then the logo/MD icon were released to the public on New Years' Day 1999.

Mountain Dew logo

In 2009, Mountain Dew was relaunched as Mtn Dew in the United States. In Canada and some other countries, the product is still called Mountain Dew, with a similar angular logo as the rebranded Mtn Dew.
