Sierra Mist was a lemon-lime flavored soda, created in 1999 by PepsiCo, and a former competitor to The Coca-Cola Company's Sprite and Keurig Dr Pepper's 7Up.

On March 20, 2010, in response to the negative reception of the 2008 logo, PepsiCo revamped Sierra Mist's logo once again. The logo was short-lived, lasting under five months.

On August 29, 2010, when PepsiCo changed Sierra Mist’s formula (primarily removing its high-fructose corn syrup content), the company added the word "Natural" to its marketing.

In December 2015, Pepsi announced that Sierra Mist would be renamed “Mist Twst” in spring of 2016, in a direct attempt to counter Sprite’s updated marketing. This coincided with the quiet reintroduction of high-fructose corn syrup into the drink.

In summer 2018, both the name change and addition of corn syrup was reverted. As of January 9, 2023, Sierra Mist has been discontinued and replaced with Starry, a similar lemon-lime flavored soda aimed towards Generation Z.
