This is the original, 16-bit logo.
The logo updated in June 2010.
This logo detaches the "L" from the "P". This logo had to be retired because of Wikia's new skin, which forces Wikis to have a wordmark, the maximum size two hundred fifty pixels wide, sixty-five pixels tall (250x65 pixels). Used from July 2010-October 26, 2013.
The new logo made a smartphone app since October 26, 2013..
When Wikia implemented a new skin across its site, Logopedia needed a new logo. Initially, Logopedia used the default blue text for a short time(Oct 9-31).
At the time, the American clothing chain Gap had introduced a much criticized new logo. Logopedia joined in the mockery by adopting a parody of the new Gap logo, consisting of the name written with Helvetica with a blue square.
The new Gap logo turned out be short lived, and the company soon switched back to its old logo. As a consequence, Logopedia also later switched to a parody of the previous Gap logo after about a week.
The Gap parody logo was never intended to be a permanent logo, and on November 1, a new Helvetica wordmark was introduced.
This article or section lacks an alternative logo at the moment. You can help Logopedia by uploading it here.
