Canal+ is a French premium TV channel. From its launch in 1984, its on-screen identity has been dominated by the simpistic graphics created by Étienne Robial, which from the mid-90s was based on rectangles moving around on screen. This ended in 2009, when new graphics were introduced, which included filmed idents.

France 2 is the biggest public television channel in France. Its visual profile has been linked to the changing tides of French broadcasting, with its own distinct identities from 1975 to 1992, and an identity linked to its parent company France Télévisions after that. The Heartbrand is the common ice cream brand of the multinational corporation Unilever. The various companies under the Heartbrand use different local names in different countries, such as Wall's in the United Kingdom and much of Asia, Algida in Italy and East Europe, Streets in Australia and New Zealand, and Kibon in Brazil. Since 1998, most of these companies have untied under a common heart-shaped logo.
