King Broadcasting's corporate logo was the "K" portion of KING's "K5" logo.
King Broadcasting was sold to the Providence Journal Company in 1992. Despite having changed hands twice since then (to Belo in 1997 then to Gannett in 2013, later spun off as Tegna in 2015), it continues to exist as the license holder for most of its former stations.
