2004-2015ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG, sold the SBS channels (Kanal 4, Kanal 5, 6'eren and 7'eren) to Discovery Communications. Kanal 5 is now a part of SBS Discovery Media.
On 19 August 2013, Kanal 5 changed their logo.
