On March 8, 1996 KZZP returns for over 5 years, then it's was after the stunning heartbeat sound effect during the TV show ER, then name as "104.7 KZZP" as the CHR format.

2001–2003

KISS 104.7 FM KZZP

On April 20, 2001, at 6:00 PM, after playing "Higher" by Creed, KZZP began stunting with a 3-day loop of Prince's Kiss, then at 12:00 noon on April 23, the station relaunched as "104.7 KISS-FM", featuring an introduction from Destiny's Child, whose song "Survivor" was the first song played.
