This logo style was also used by KVBC (now KHSV) in Las Vegas, KCWY in Casper, semi-satelite sister station KENV in Elko and then-sister station KYMA in Yuma. In 2009, the "-DT" callsigns were added alongside the rest of its then-sister stations. On November 22, 2013, the Hunt Valley, Maryland-based Sinclair Broadcast Group announced the acquisition of KRNV's non-license assets, for $26 million. Sinclair already owned Fox affiliate KRXI-TV (VHF channel 11) and operated MyNetworkTV (now independent) affiliate KAME-TV (UHF channel 21) in Reno. On December 19, it was announced that Cunningham Broadcasting will acquire the license assets of KRNV and KENV for $6.5 million. The sale was approved on September 22, 2017, and was completed on January 9, 2018.
