After more than 8 years of airing Top 40/CHR music, CBS Radio decided to flip KKHH's format to Adult Hits as "95.7 The Spot".

Six days later, Radio One's struggling Classic Hip-Hop station KROI flipped to Top 40/CHR, in response to KKHH's format change.
