KFXK-TV[]
1991–1993[]
In 1991, the station was renamed to KFXK-TV and became a Fox affiliate. This was due to Fox now gaining popularity rather than CBS in many states. After channel 51 switched to Fox, cable providers gained KHOU-TV from Houston, KDFW-TV from Dallas-Ft. Worth (which would affiliate with Fox four years later) and KTBC-TV from Austin. (which would also end up being a Fox affiliate) After KDFW and KTBC switched to Fox in 1995, cable providers also gained KTVT and KEYE-TV respectively.
