Travel Channel was launched at middle 1996 by Landmark Communications, becomes a Latin American feed of the United States network.
People+Arts was originally launched in October 6, 1997 alongside Animal Planet as People & Arts Network, a joint-venture between Discovery Communications and BBC. When Discovery purchased the U.S. Travel Channel, People&Arts was merged with the Latin American signal of him in the next year.
At start, the channel was named El nuevo/O novo Travel Channel: People+Arts. After a time, the tagline was removed and once again rebranded as simply People+Arts (pronouncied People and Arts)
People+Arts was launched in January 1, 2004 in Spain at Digital+ satellite plataform, remplacing the former channel Estilo.
People+Arts was closed in Spain in January 8, 2010, meanwhile the Latin American network was relaunched in April 12, 2010 as Liv, retain the same programing of the previous channel.
