Intel began production of Pentium !!! in 1999. However, it wasn't that long until they released the Pentium 4 processor. This processor was also with Xeon, just like Pentium II.

In 2003, Intel stopped producing the Pentium !!! and Pentium !!! Xeon processors in favor of the Pentium M, which is a part of the Centrino platform.
