The first logo of The Independent Film Channel was created by Brian Dieck of newly formed The Diecks Group.

IFC

2001–2010

IFC (Canada) logo

This logo first appeared in 2000 on the very first release from IFC Films, Spring Forward, but it was not adopted as the official logo until 2001.

2010–2014

Independent Film Channel (IFC) logo

In March 2010, IFC slightly refocused itself from a channel focusing on independent films to include more comedy programming. This included a new logo and the tagline "Always on. Slightly off." The new look was created by Feel Good Anyway of Portland, Oregon.

2014–present

IFC Logo

In 2014, Independent Film Channel's name was legally changed to IFC, which is the current on-screen name.
