Hasbro was founded in 1923 as Hassenfeld Brothers.
In 1945, Hassenfeld Brothers was shortened as Hasbro.
In 1992, Hasbro completely made a brand new logo. The logo itself consists a teal square, with the words "Hasbro" in the square.
In late 1999, Hasbro redesigned their square logo. The square itself remained, as did the teal color, but the square was tilted and the simple Futura wordmark was replaced with a new script font that had a smile shape underneath. Note that the logo has a white square behind it.
2007-2009 (variant), 2009-present (official use)
This jazzed up version of the Hasbro logo was introduced in late 2008, blue was added to the logo to blend in with the teal color. Shadow was added to the script and the smile and extra medium-fat lines were added and the square become more concaved by curving in the edges.
