In 2001, Lantmännen decided to reorganize their retail stores and renamed them "Granngården", which roughly translates as "The neighbouring farm".
In 2008, Lantmännen sold to EQT Opportunity. Following the sale, Lantmännen adopted a new look in 2009. The new look was developed by Lowe Brindfors and included a new logo and a custom-made font by Blink.
