Since early 2011, the logo was given a more basic and flat look. First debuted in developer's versions in March 2011. This logo continued appearing as the startup animation on Chrome OS-powered devices (excluding Chromecasts) until version 56 of the OS.
2012–2014 (Android)
This logo was only used for the Android edition of the browser.
2015–present, 2014–present (Android), 2015–present (iOS)
The logo was redesigned to be more in line with the new material design user interface for its respective version on Android version 5.0 Lollipop in 2014. This logo was introduced on the iOS version in January 2015, and it was introduced to the regular desktop version in October 2015.
