On February 25, 2005, RFO Sat renamed itself to France Ô. An circumflex was added to prevent the logo from being read as "France Zéro", although the latter became an unofficial nickname for the channel as it struggled to attract significant viewership in the métropole.[1][2]

Launched:  April 7, 2008

On April 7, 2008, France Télévisions introduced a company-wide image refresh, which included an updated logo and the addition of gradients to the logos of each channel. With this change, La 1ère launched a webradio channel called Radio Ô.

Launched:  January 29, 2018

On January 29, 2018, France Télévisions introduced a new look for all of its services for the first time since 2002. This new look was designed by Paris-based agency Movement, who also designed the branding package for Franceinfo. With this, France Ô changed its orange colour to yellow to match that of La 1ère, the overseas territories service from France Télévisions.

France Ô ceased broadcasting on August 24, 2020, after many years of struggling to attract significant viewership in the métropole.[2]
