The logo was modified in 1994 and was used in tandem with the 1975 logo until 2000. By March 31, 2013, most Zellers locations were closed, while the other ones were converted into Walmart and Target stores. The remaining Zellers stores were used as liquidation outlets by the Hudson's Bay Company.
In September 2019, the Hudson's Bay Company announced that the remaining two Zellers stores would be shutting down in January of 2020.
A pop-up store for Zellers opened on September 25, 2021 in Burlington, Ontario.
In August 2022, the Hudson's Bay Company announced plans to revive Zellers in 2023 with a new website and presence inside select Hudson's Bay stores.
This logo has been discontinued since the Zellers website updated in January 2023.

This logo is similar to the logo introduced in 1994, however it has some tweaks, such as the E's no longer being connected to the following letter, the S being completely changed, the R being slightly tweaked, and the two L's being slightly further away from each other.
This logo was first seen on December 20, 2022 on the official Zellers Instagram.
On March 23, 2023, the first locations in Alberta and Ontario opened inside Hudson's Bay stores.
