This logo was used as secondary alternate logo for Wal-Mart, but it was set in its corporate font at the time used on some products and merchandise in tandem with the 1977-1981 logo. This logo is similar to the 1981-1992 logo, but in title case instead of uppercase.

This logo was used from July to October 1981 after the acquisition of Kuhn's Big K stores. It is the precursor to the 1981-1992 logo.

In 1991, Wal-Mart rolled out several prototype locations using a logo with a star instead of a hyphen and an entirely different typeface. This logo was only used on storefronts (all now closed or remodeled) and a small amount of in-store branding.
