On August 31, 2022, Gray announced that WGCL and WPCH's news programs would take on the umbrella brand of Atlanta News First , with WGCL-TV additionally changing its call sign to WANF , in October. The rebrand actually debuted on September 30, 2022 during the noon newscast, three days before the call letter change took effect on October 3rd.
