Star Sports is a sports TV broadcaster in India, owned by The Walt Disney Company . It operated under the Star Sports, Star Cricket and ESPN brands before being rebranded with a single Star Sports brand in 2013. It operates several television channels, including many in Indian regional languages (which are branded as Star Sports 1).

Its main competitor is Sony Pictures Sports Network, and to a lesser extent Eurosport and DD Sports.

Star Sports underwent a major rebrand on 6 November 2013. The rebrand was commissioned by London-based creative agency venturethree, which had previously rebranded the Star TV network, Star Plus, Life OK and Star Jalsha. Star Cricket and ESPN were renamed to Star Sports 3 and Star Sports 4, respectively. Further, the online portal StarSports.com was rebranded (it has since been merged into Hotstar).

The graphics package used across all channels consists of flying shafts of colour. Nobel is the on-screen typeface. (In 2017, Fox Movies in Southeast Asia adopted this font.)
