2020–present[]
Around fall 2020, following Psyonix's acquisition by Epic Games and during the game's transition to a free-to-play model, a new logo is introduced, dropping the Octane shield symbol, now consisting just of the "Rocket League" wordmark.
Despite this change, the shield symbol is still shown on certain minor parts of the game, such as the PC desktop executable icon or alongside Battle Passes or Season graphics.
