When Radio Television of Belgrade (RTB) started, it was one of two television centers that made up Yugoslav Radio Television (JRT). The logo was inspired by a TV antenna (T) while the circle symbolizes a radio wave.

Radio Television of Serbia[]
1992–1993[]
After the company was renamed to Radio Television of Serbia, a new corporate logo was introduced on January 1, 1992, with old logos being used on the air as on-screen bugs until autumn 1992, which is when the current RTS logo was introduced, replacing the RTB, RTP and RTNS on-screen logos with RTS' then-new logo's ones, with B1 and B2 being the main channels of the Belgrade divisions, together with 3K; NS and NS plus being the channels of the Novi Sad division together with the 3P which timeshared with 3K; and P being the only channel of Priština division. Original names of the division channels remained in internal use until at least the mid-1990s.
The logo resembles the 1958 RTB logo, with notable differences being the B (for Belgrade) being replaced with the S (for Serbia), and the "antenna" of the T receiving an "outlined" makeover.

Variant with English name of the broadcaster (1993)
At the end of the ident, primarily used before newscasts, sign-on and sign-off, the wordmark below the logo could be replaced by either Television Belgrade or Television Novi Sad. Even after the next logo was introduced in late 1992, a variant of this logo remained in use into early 1993 on the intro of the broadcaster's English-language news program, Belgrade Evening Report.
