Before becoming its own channel, Piwi+ was first launched as a programming block known as Piwi on July 9, 2002. The early version was created by EnSky Studios and Sparx Animation Studios.
2003–2011[]
Piwi was later launched as a TV channel on December 3, 2003.
Piwi+[]
2011–present[]
Following its name change on May 17, 2011, the channel adopted a new look lively and assertive colors created by the Spanish Soul Vector.
