NewsX is an English-language TV news channel in India. It was launched in 2008 by INX Media, whose other channels were 9XM and the now-defunct 9X (which was sold to Zee in 2010). It was acquired by a company named Indi Media Network in 2009, which planned to rebrand it to IMN News in 2010, but never did. Eventually, it was acquired by the iTV Network in 2012, which owns the India News group of TV channels.
