Movies Now is a Hollywood movie channel run by the Times Network, the broadcast subsidiary of the Times Group, an Indian media conglomerate. It was launched in 2010 as one of the first high-definition channels in the country, with an SD feed being launched in 2016. Fellow English movie channels Romedy Now, MN+ HD and MNX (initially launched as Movies Now 2) were launched in later years.
Its competitors include Sony Pix, Star Movies and &flix.

Separate HD logo: 2016-present[]
A dedicated SD feed was launched on 1 January 2016. Before then, the standard-definition feed was simply a downscaled version of the HD feed.[1]
Accordingly, the word ‘HD’ was added to the logo. Before then the HD and SD channels had the same logo.
