laOtra is the second channel of Telemadrid, launched on March 19, 2001. It had an alternative programming to the ones offered by the rest of public and commercial television channels in Spain and broadcasted exclusively through DTT until September 2005.

When laOtra was launched in 2001, it used the as a main logo, to capitalize on its different programming.

2005–2014[]

On September 15, 2005, laOtra started broadcasting through analog. Along with that came a new programming and a new logo. It was based off Telemadrid's logo, but with the star being moved to the right.

2014–2017[]

LaOtra changed its logo on 1 September 2014. It now consisted on the symbol of Telemadrid, but now colored entirely red instead of each diamond having a different color.

In 2017, Radio Televisión Madrid began a re-structuring process and all of its subsidiaries, including laOtra, began changing the logos. In laOtra's case, it consisted on a transparent star surrounded by parallelograms that simulate ondulations.
