Czech Airlines (České Aerolinie, abbreviated as ČSA) is the flag carrier of the Czech Republic and one of the oldest airlines in the world, having been founded in 1923. It joined the SkyTeam alliance in 2000, the same year as its foundation, and has been 98% owned by the low-cost carrier Smartwings since 2018.

Czech Airlines old

After the split of Czechoslovakia in the beginning of 1993, the acronym CSA was kept, but its meaning was changed from Czechoslovak Airlines to Czech State Airlines.

2007–present[]

A new look for Czech Airlines was revealed in September 2007. The new logo was created by Michal Kotyza, who works for the airline.
