Finnair is the flag carrier of Finland and one of the oldest airlines in the world, having been established in 1923 as Aero Oy (hence its airline code, AY). It operates a global route network from its hub at Helsinki Vantaa Airport, as well as regional routes through its subsidiary, Nordic Regional Airlines. It was one of the first airlines to join the oneworld airline alliance in 1999, soon after its foundation.

A new look for Finnair was unveiled on 20 December 2010. This new design was also created with SEK&Grey. The well-known F symbol was kept and redesigned, but the F symbol and the wordmark no longer needed to be displayed together and could be used independently of each other. The new livery is almost entirely white, except for the large Finnair logo across the fuselage and the F symbol on the tail.
