FXM (originally named The Film Zone) was a Latin American cable TV channel of movies, focused on drama, comedy, action, suspense and terror.

In October 2012, The Film Zone changed its name as Film Zone, as well as its on-air logo, both made again by Superestudio[1].

In 2016, the logo was slightly modified to feature 3D graphics matching the graphic rebrand at the time.

On September 18, 2017, Film Zone ceased operations and was replaced with FXM.

FXM launched on September 18, 2017, replacing Film Zone. The channel adopted the logo and graphics used by the original channel, made by Block & Tackle[2].

At the beginning of January 2022, Disney announced the closure of FXM in Latin America on March 31, in addition to the shutdown of other linear television channels that it owns in the region such as Star Life, Disney XD, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo Kids and the Brazilian version of Disney Junior. The change comes as a consequence of the conglomerate focusing more on its Disney+ and Star+ platforms.
